Burns Night Report

Cargreen had a great celebration for Burns’ Night – from Addressing the haggis with our own piper and poet (both from Cargreen!), neeps, tatties, haggis and venison, cranachan, plenty of whisky and even tartan napkins. The evening finished up with some very energetic Scottish dancing with Kirstie Evans as Caller keeping us all in line. |

The whole team who produced the evening, from cooking, decorating the hall and organising, felt that it was all worthwhile and the handsome sum of £970 was raised to be split between the Newsletter and the Hall Committee.
