Burns Night Report

Cargreen had a great celebration for Burns’ Night – from Addressing the haggis with our own piper and poet (both  from Cargreen!), neeps, tatties, haggis and venison, cranachan, plenty of whisky  and even tartan napkins. 

The evening finished up with some very energetic Scottish dancing with Kirstie Evans as Caller keeping us all in line.

The whole team who produced the evening, from cooking, decorating the hall and organising, felt that it was all worthwhile and the handsome sum of £970 was raised to be split between the Newsletter and the Hall Committee.

Meetings 2011-12

Parish Council Meeting dates for 2011-12

Meetings start at 7:30pm in the Memorial Hall Annex with up to 15mins public forum. A second 10 minute public forum is held between the main meeting and the meeting to discuss planning matters which follows after the main meeting concludes. Parishioners are welcome to attend and may address the council during the public forums. Documents and plans are available from 7pm
